Burstly Rolling Out Sweet New App Testing Tools
May 21, 2013 - 1 minute readBurstly, the owner of the app testing platform “TestFlight” is rolling out a new suite of developer tools to the public. According to TechCrunch, the products TestFlight, FlightPath, and now SkyRocket represent a full cycle of support covering the entire development process, from beta testing straight through analytics for shipped software, and on to monetization tools. Cross functionality has been built into each of the components, making it easier than ever for developers to plug into and share info between products.
Burstly’s newest product release, SkyRocket offers free add mediation services. The simple ad management platform automates the process of setting up different partner accounts saving time and effort for developers that manage multiple ad partners. The company has effectively monetized the platform by charging a 10% commission on ad revenues generated using the product.
As an iPhone app developer in San Diego I find Burstly’s suite of app developer tools extremely useful. We use TestFlight consistently to roll out new iterations of mobile apps to our beta testers before we submit the app to market. I could also see the iPhone and iPad app developer community benefiting from SkyRocket’s automated ad mediation services. Tools like this that reduce effort while increasing revenue represent a win win for developers across the mobile ecosystem.
